Meet Emily: Drink Slingers' Newest Sales Manager Ready to Shake Things Up!

Meet Emily, our newest Sales Manager and Drink Slinger extraordinaire! With over 14 years in the food and beverage world, Emily’s journey began back in 2010, working at the Gristmill during her college summer breaks. What started as a seasonal gig quickly evolved into a full-fledged career, all driven by a love for the craft and a passion for customer service. We’re totally here for it!

When it comes to drinks, Emily has mastered the art of balance and creativity. Her go-to cocktail? A mezcal mule – a smoky spin on the classic. “I love that smoke,” she says. And while enjoying her favorite drink is always a treat, it’s in making cocktails where Emily truly shines. “My favorite to make? A classic margarita,” Emily shares. “They’re so versatile—spicy, sweet, sour, you name it. It’s like crafting a pasta dish; you can always mix things up.” (And now you see why we hired her, right?!)

Since joining Drink Slingers, Emily’s discovered a new thrill in event creation. “It’s like putting together a puzzle,” she explains, loving the excitement of working behind the scenes. “I get to stay grounded in what I know while expanding my knowledge, and that’s something I truly value. The execution is so satisfying!”

With a passion for both the work and the amazing people she’s met along the way, Emily is all in on this journey, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her on the Drink Slingers team, sharing her craft and passion with every event she touches.
