A UT graduate and former Peace Corps volunteer, Eric has lived in Austin off and on for over a decade. During the off years he lived in New Orleans, where he learned how to appreciate a Sazerac; Brazil, where he honed his bar skills slinging Caipirinhas; and Cuba, where the Mojito’s importance takes second place only to the revolution, and he developed an affinity for the drink - a satisfying muddled mixture of yerba buena, Havana Club rum, fresh limón, and cane sugar. By day, Eric works for a local study abroad company, by night, he slings drinks with the Drink Slingers crew.
