“My wife and I recently celebrated our vow renewal with a small ceremony/event. I contacted Drink Slingers to hire a bartender, and had such an amazing experience from the beginning. Devon was wonderful to work with whether by phone or email. She communicated clearly and in a timely manner from beginning to end. Devon even helped me with a shopping list from kids to adult beverages according to our guest list. During our event, Bibi was our bartender and I am glad she was. She spoke Spanish which made it easier for our guests to communicate with her. Bibi offers outstanding service, great communication, and the friendliest attitude. Working with Drink Slingers was an absolutely positive experience. I am a coordinator, but live out of state. Nannette help with creating a shopping list for items needed, plus let me know they could supply some items for the cocktails that would have been hard for us to provide. “Stacy and Jennifer were exceptional. They were super friendly and made some fantastic margaritas and Mexican martinis. All of the guests were very impressed with the bar service. There were a couple of times that Stacy saw me mingling with wedding guests and brought me a fresh Mexican Martini with extra olives. “We hired Drink Slingers for our small wedding and could not have asked for a better experience! Sadie was quick to respond to our communications, offered excellent advice and knowledge about what kind of menu options we should offer, and gave us a lot of freedom to personalize our cocktail and beer menu. Even though SXSW was going on during a chunk of our planning period and Drink Slingers was slammed with events, we never once felt that we weren't a priority. Moreover, the service at the wedding itself was outstanding! Drink Slingers did an excellent job setting up a small, clean, well-decorated bar area with nice decorations and lighting. Our ceremony and reception were Lord of the Rings-themed, and our bartender Nicole went out of her way to dress up-- even though she totally didn't have to! She did an amazing job mixing the themed cocktails, we had lovingly tailored for the occasion, and all our guests commented on how friendly and professional she was. We were touched when Drink Slingers reached out to us in the days after the wedding to tell us personally how much they enjoyed working with us and how lovely our wedding had been. "Sadie is the absolute best when it comes to planning a drink menu for a reception. My now-husband and I were married on March 25th, 2018, and while we never met Sadie in person, she was incredibly helpful in our planning process. We handled a majority of the plans for our wedding on our own, and had never held an event for 100+ people before. When we decided that we wanted to serve beer and wine only at our reception, we had absolutely no idea how to calculate how much we would need to purchase. Sadie was remarkably helpful and provided us with a list of what we should shop for - and as a result, the money we had budgeted toward our drinks turned out to be significantly higher than what we actually needed, and without Sadie's help we would have spent money we didn't need to.

"Words can not describe how AMAZING this company is. I had a client with particular requests regarding the drink menu. Nanette personally walked me through my choices and set up a shopping list tailored to the events needs. She made it so EASY. Nanette personally worked the event and oversaw every aspect of the bar from cup wear to ice delivery. Her staff was friendly and funny and all had great personalities. Before the event there was a MAJOR crisis involving the alcohol being delivered. She stayed calm, kept me calm and handled the situation like a boss. Her staff DROVE out to the store and picked up the kegs and liquor. While there we encountered more problems regarding the card being used for payment. Once again she made it happen ! She had the place set up and ready to go as if nothing had happened. The guests absolutely LOVED and raved about the entire drink slingers group. I am using this company EVERY time in the future. “Drink Slingers was excellent! We were probably pretty tough to work with, since Nannette had to deal with me, my wife and my mom at the same time but she made it all happen. We used them for both the rehearsal dinner/welcome party and cocktail hour + reception for our wedding. The welcome party menu was pretty simple as it was just beer, wine and mint juleps, but you’ve got to know how to properly make a mint julep and they definitely succeeded! More challenging, our reception and cocktail hour were a totally open bar. My wife and I stocked it so that somebody could order whatever drink they wanted, whether it was a maragita, manhattan, whiskey sour, or just a simple gin and tonic. With so many options and such little direction, the service was absolutely fantastic. All the guests were happy and everyone got what they wanted. I can definitely say that without Nannette and Drink Slingers, the wedding would not have been perfect.”

"We used Drink Slingers for a fundraising happy hour for our kids' elementary school, and they were amazing. Sadie, the owner, promptly responded to my inquiry with a detailed quote. I was able to book the next day. Sadie was responsive, organized, professional, and friendly. She talked with us to determine exactly what our vision was and made suggestions when we weren't sure about something or hadn't thought about something. Once we had decided on our menu and vision for the evening, she sent us a detailed shopping list and checked in with us a couple of times to be sure we were able to find everything and to let us know details about the evening and who our bartender would be.
Our bartender was Justin, and he was awesome! He was prompt, professional, and friendly. He chatted with us before the party and checked in with us several times throughout the party to be sure we were happy with everything. The setup looked amazing, and we especially liked the menu! Several of the guests approached up and told us how friendly Justin was, and they took cards to use Drink Slingers in the future. When it was time to shut down, Justin set drinks up for us in the kitchen so we could continue the party with the remaining guests and cleaned everything perfectly. "We had an wedding reception on April 2, 2016, and these folks were just terrific. They worked with us before the event to make sure we had the right 'mix' of drinks (see what I did there?) and supplies. On the day of the event, they just flat out 'owned it.' The team was 1) efficient 2) hard working 3) exceedingly friendly and pleasant (so said all who interacted with them) 4) and most importantly, allowed me to fully relax and attend the the guests.
I also appreciated how, as the father of the bride, they let me cut the line just a tad. While not everyone will write a review, I can also assert that every one of our guests I have spoken with had nothing but great things to say about the 'Slingers.' These Slingers will remain the only servers in my phone, and on speed dial to boot. Do yourself a favor and hire these people and then go worry about something else, because you will not be worrying about them.

Sadie was highly involved and communicated fluidly with me in the weeks before the event, addressing any concerns or questions I had. She also made suggestions for my bar shopping list, which helped. "Sadie was very professional and friendly while serving at our wedding. She made the outdoor space look even better than it already did with her string lights and tasteful decorations. Since our venue was a location she had not worked at previously she met me a few weeks before our wedding to get a feel for the layout and amenities. She asked lots of great questions, most of which I wouldn't have even thought of, in order to get a good idea of what I had in mind. We had wanted a champagne toast before going in to the reception hall and she found the perfect spot to set up her tray with the champagne flutes and even suggested that we buy some sparkling grape juice so the several kids in attendance wouldn't feel left out. I thought that was really thoughtful! Sadie emailed me a shopping list and helped us figure out how much to buy of each thing that we were planning to serve.
